Wil Wheaton is taking fans back to one of The Big Bang Theory’s biggest moments.
The actor recently posted throwback photos from the sitcom’s Season 11 finale, where Mark Hamill famously officiated Sheldon and Amy’s wedding. Alongside the images, Wheaton praised the Star Wars actor for being “one of the kindest people you will ever meet.”
According to Wheaton, Hamill’s arrival on set created instant excitement among the cast and crew.
“Literally every single person on Stage 25 was geeked out,” he wrote, adding that Hamill treated everyone with kindness and grace throughout filming.
Hamill’s cameo quickly became one of the most memorable celebrity appearances in the series’ history. The episode itself marked a major milestone for Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler, whose wedding was years in the making.
Wheaton, meanwhile, became a recurring favorite on the sitcom thanks to his hilarious role as Sheldon’s nemesis. The fictional feud began after Wheaton supposedly skipped a Star Trek convention Sheldon attended as a teenager.
