After becoming one of the defining characters of NCIS: Los Angeles, LL COOL J is returning to the franchise in a major way. The actor will first reappear in an upcoming episode of NCIS, surprising both characters and viewers alike.
Even more exciting, CBS has confirmed that he will lead NCIS: New York, a brand-new spinoff set in his character’s hometown. Teaming up with Hawaii Five-0 favorite Scott Caan, Sam will help guide a new team tasked with protecting one of America’s most strategically important cities.
The move marks a major next chapter for the longtime agent, whose leadership and loyalty helped define the Los Angeles team for years.
