The Big Bang Theory universe is expanding once again—this time with a multiverse twist. Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, the newest spinoff from franchise co-creator Chuck Lorre, is set to premiere on HBO Max in July 2026, bringing back fan-favorite comic book store owner Stuart Bloom.
Kevin Sussman reprises his role as Stuart, who accidentally triggers chaos after breaking a device created by Sheldon and Leonard. The result? A full-blown multiverse crisis. Alongside his girlfriend Denise (Lauren Lapkus) and friends Bert (Brian Posehn) and Barry Kripke (John Ross Bowie), Stuart must attempt to fix reality—though, as the title suggests, success isn’t guaranteed.
