CBS is officially expanding the NCIS universe once again—this time with NCIS: New York, a brand-new spinoff led by longtime franchise favorite LL Cool J. The actor reprises his role as Sam Hanna, returning to his hometown to join a new investigative team tackling high-stakes missions in one of the world’s most critical cities and ports.
Joining him is Hawaii Five-0 star Scott Caan, who plays a sharp, unpredictable agent set to become Hanna’s new partner. Their dynamic is expected to anchor the series as it introduces a fresh East Coast setting to the franchise.
The show will premiere Tuesday nights this fall at 9 p.m., alongside NCIS and NCIS: Origins, creating a powerful three-show lineup.
Before the launch, fans can expect early teasers when both leads appear in upcoming episodes of the flagship NCIS series later this season.
