Longtime Days of Our Lives viewers know that Kate (Lauren Koslow) is no stranger to schemes. She has a legendary track record of doing whatever it takes to get what she wants, but she may have finally crossed a line that her marriage can’t survive: she’s messing with Roman’s (Josh Taylor) family.

Roman is beyond frustrated with his wife’s latest stunt. Kate set Johnny (Carson Boatman) up, and despite her best efforts to spin it as “doing it for the right reasons,” the truth is much uglier. Because of her meddling, Roman is actually asking Kate to keep her distance. It’s a bold move, but considering what she did to Johnny, Roman is well within his rights to set some boundaries. If Kate keeps pushing, she might find herself single sooner rather than later.

Comfort and Conflict in Salem

While the drama at the Brady Pub simmers, Marlena (Deidre Hall) heads to the hospital to check on Johnny. The poor guy has been through the wringer. He’s fresh off a brush with death, only to be hit with a heavy update regarding Chanel’s health. It’s a lot for anyone to handle, but Grandma Marlena is stepping in to offer some much-needed counseling and support.

Meanwhile, Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) is still reeling from the news that his mom is returning to the land of the living. After years of grieving and believing she was gone forever, the shock is massive. He’s happy, of course, but he’s also deeply conflicted. How do you just go back to normal after a miracle like that?

Warnings and Complications

Elsewhere in town, the Days spoilers for May 6th promise plenty of friction. EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) is busy issuing a stern warning to Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). Plus, Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) and Chad (Conner Floyd) are attempting to keep things casual. We all know how that goes in Salem—staying “casual” is always easier said than done.
