Jesse Palmer already pitched this idea to the ABC execs.
Host Jesse Palmer shared his thoughts on a Golden Bachelor Paradise. Bachelor Nation fans would love to see the former contestants get another opportunity to find love again. They would like a Bachelor in Paradise spinoff series where the former contestants of The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette mix together in a tropical setting. ABC would love to expand the Golden Bachelor universe but hasn’t confirmed the premiere of this program. This hasn’t stopped some people from trying, though.
What Palmer Has to Say
Palmer spoke to Swooon about the idea of a Golden Bachelor in Paradise. He shared that he loved the concept. He already requested where the show should be filmed, such as “Atlantic City or Naples, Florida.”
“It would have to be somewhere tropical, maybe with air conditioning,” Palmer joked. “That probably would be a great idea for this group.” ABC hasn’t confirmed the rumors of a Golden Bachelor in Paradise, as the network just canceled the show. However, fans are still holding out hope. There are plenty of contestants to revisit from Gerry Turner’s and Joan Vassos’s seasons.
Who Would Join Golden Bachelor in Paradise
There are plenty of top contenders for the show, including fan favorites Susan Knoles and Kathy Swarts. When it comes to the Golden Bachelorette men, names like Charles Ling and Jack Lencioni have been thrown around. Self-proclaimed “girl dad,” Keith Gordon, told Swan that he was interested in the day but would just make one request. “I still recommend maybe not putting a bunch of us old people on a beach with our bathing suits,” he joked.
The Golden Bachelor will start filming Season 2 in the summer of 2025. It could take time for Golden Bachelor in Paradise to air. What are your thoughts? Do you like this concept? Sound off below in the comment section.
