Bachelor Nation met Kelsey Anderson’s dad, Mark, and the rest of her family during her Hometown date on Season 28 of “The Bachelor.”
Kelsey has been open about how her father cared for her late mother before she passed away and after seeing him on-screen, fans instantly fell in love with him.
Bachelor Nation fans quickly called for Kelsey’s dad to be cast on “The Golden Bachelorette” to hopefully find love the way his daughter did with Joey Graziadei.
Now, it’s officially official! Mark has been cast on Joan Vassos’ season of “The Golden Bachelorette” and Kelsey took to Instagram to react to the exciting news.
Alongside his official cast headshot, Kelsey wrote, “Welllll would you look at that!”
She also commented on his cast announcement calling him “the best dad!”
And Kelsey wasn’t the other Bachelor Nation star excited about the news — many others flooded the comments of his announcement post with love and support.
Joey wrote, “STUD!”
Maria Georgas added, “We love Mark!!!”
Rachel Nance chimed in, saying, “KING!”
And Autumn Waggoner wrote, “Marky Mark!!!”
