The NCIS universe continues to grow, and its next destination is New York City.
CBS has officially confirmed NCIS: New York will premiere in Fall 2026, bringing longtime agent Sam Hanna back into the spotlight. Played by LL Cool J, Hanna returns to his hometown to lead a new team assigned to protect one of the world’s most important cities.
Joining him is Scott Caan, whose role as Hanna’s “roguish” partner promises a dynamic new team chemistry.
With Scott Gemmill writing the pilot and Byron Balasco serving as showrunner, the creative leadership includes several experienced voices from earlier franchise successes.
