When The Big Bang Theory wrapped its historic 12-season run in 2019, most cast members walked away with meaningful souvenirs from the set. Kevin Sussman, however, left empty-handed — and he still regrets it today.
The actor, who played comic-book store owner Stuart Bloom in 84 episodes, recently revealed on The Official Big Bang Theory Podcast that he passed up the chance to take home a keepsake from Stuart’s beloved store. At the time, the shelves were filled with items that could easily be found in real comic shops, so nothing felt special enough to claim.
Only weeks later did the realization hit him.
Sussman admitted he should have taken Stuart’s signature clipboard — the very same prop he used for 11 seasons, filled with doodles, reminders, and memories from his time on set. Sadly, by then it was already gone.
Now, with HBO Max’s upcoming spinoff Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, Sussman gets a fresh chance to create new memories with the character fans still love. 📚
