The Young and The Restless Abbotts are in for a surprise when Victor (Eric Braeden) launches a cyber attack against Jabot. Coincidentally, Victor launches the attack the same day Ashley (Eileen Davidson) comes home for Thanksgiving.
Her return works out for the Abbott family because she may be the weapon to help save the business. Victor’s attack occurs once Ashley returns home for the holidays.
It’s an emotional homecoming for the Abbotts but unfortunately it won’t last because Victor plans to destroy the entire family. The plan to destroy the Abbotts got started when Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) stole Cane’s (Billy Flynn) software and gave it to Victor.
Victor knew exactly what he wanted to do with AI software. When Jack (Peter Bergman) and Billy (Jason Thompson) found out that Victor had the AI software they went into defensive mode.
They put their differences aside and united to protect their father’s legacy. Jack vowed to make Victor pay if he attacked Jabot.
It looks like Jack will have to make good on his threat because Victor plans to launch his cyber attack on the Abbotts. While the Abbotts gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, Victor plans to launch the AI cyber-attack.
According to sources, Victor wants to cause emotional pain during the family holiday. His goal is to crush the family’s spirit as well as take down Jabot.
The timing is perfect for Victor because he thinks the Abbotts will have their guards down because they are celebrating the holidays.
There may be a snag in Victor’s plan. Ashley has a history with Victor which means she knows how his mind works. She may be the only one to stop Victor’s plan. Ashley is a smart business woman who understands how Victor operates when it comes to business.
She also has a daughter with Victor. Ashley knows Victor’s weaknesses. Is it a coincidence that Ashley arrived back in Genoa City when she did? Did Jack invite her home for her business expertise? Was the holiday reunion a ruse for the upcoming war with Victor?
Victor’s plan may not go the way he thinks. According to sources, Cane possibly falsified the software. The program could possibly destroy Newman Enterprises instead of Jabot. Is it possible that Victor could destroy his own company instead of Jabot?
It’s not a typical Newman versus Abbott war. The war is happening in a digital era so anything could happen. Can Ashley save the family or will they watch their family legacy get destroyed? Will Victor’s plan go off without a hitch or will Ashley put a stop to it?
