Iain Armitage is enjoying an “extended visit” with one of his beloved family members.
In a new update shared to Instagram this week, the Young Sheldon star uploaded photos from his recent visit to Washington, D.C., where he was able to spend some quality time with his “wonderful grandmother.”
In the new post, the 16-year-old actor could be seen standing in front of the U.S. capitol building for a selfie, which was followed by another photo of him smiling for the camera alongside his grandmother.
“A perfect day out here filming a PSA for a cause I care a lot about and then a late lunch with my wonderful grandmother!” the TV personality captioned his post on Thursday, June 19. “I love her so much and it’s been great having an extended visit with her ❤️.”
Armitage’s followers were overjoyed to see him spending time with family, and as one commenter pointed out, the actor and his grandmother appeared to have the “same smile.”
“I’m so happy you get to hang out with your ‘meemaw!’ 😍” another fan quipped, referencing Annie Potts‘ character on Young Sheldon.
“Sheldon Cooper goes to Washington!” someone else added.
