
In a recent interview, she teased that the “band is back together” and that Season 2 would feature a “great storyline.” However, when asked if Season 2 would include the return of her twin brother, who, at the end of Young Sheldon, made his way to Caltech, she revealed why the chances of this Cooper sibling returning are unlikely. According to her, it has to do with the established lore on The Big Bang Theory, but she is also optimistic that the showrunners could find a way to bring him back.
“That would be so much fun, but I feel like if, because they’re sticking to The Big Bang Theory lore and everything. Because the whole thing in The Big Bang Theory is Georgie and Sheldon don’t talk because they kinda have a rift between them after George [Sr] dies. And so, if they’re sticking to that, I feel like it wouldn’t make sense for Sheldon to come back. But who knows, maybe they’ll find a loophole. They’ve found loopholes before; they’ll find them again.”

Season 2 of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is set to continue where Season 1 left off, where Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Ruben (Jessie Prez) buy Jim McAllister’s business, while Mandy (Emily Osment) gets a full-time weather gig where her ex is her boss. Both Georgie & Mandy have agreed to trust each other as they make huge decisions for their career. While The Big Bang Theory revealed that Georgie finds success in adulthood, showrunner Steve Holland has teased that “anything is possible,” and he hasn’t thought far ahead about whether this new business venture would lead to Dr. Tire.
