“Yellowstone” star Kelly Reilly dropped a behind the scenes of what’s coming.
The hit neo-Western series from Taylor Sheridan returns November 10th for its fifth and final season. It’s finally time to find out how the saga of the Duttons will end after diving head first into their story back in 2018.
There’s been a lot of drama surrounding the series, and Kevin Costner is not returning as John Dutton. How will Taylor Sheridan give fans an ending without the show’s biggest star? Your guess is as good as mine, but we have more content coming out ahead of the show’s return.
Kelly Reilly teases “rawness” of final episodes.
Several stars on the show have been dropping videos and viral posts from set, and Kelly Reilly – who plays Beth Dutton – dropped a cool one shining a light on the powerful nature setting and beautiful animals around them. However, it was the caption that caught my attention. It sounds like whatever is coming will be raw and beautiful.
“The group of people that continue to make this wild show make it with all their hearts and guts , I’m so deeply proud to be running alongside them. The rawness and beauty of this years [sic] season is really something. Can’t wait to share it. November,” Reilly wrote, in part, on the post from set.
“The rawness and beauty of this years [sic] season is really something.”
If reading that didn’t get you excited for the rest of the fifth and final season, then I truly don’t know what to tell you. “Yellowstone” has always done a great job of balancing the pain of the storylines with the gorgeous backdrop of the setting it takes place in.
In many ways, the nature and setting of the Western series is its own character. The cinematography is absolutely gorgeous. Now, what does she mean by rawness?
As I’ve said for years, I expect the ending to be an absolute bloodbath. Who will live? Who will die? I expected Beth and Rip to both eat it by the end, but seeing as how there’s now a reported spinoff coming with both characters and Kayce, I’m thinking all three characters are now safe.
We’ll find out starting November 10th. Do you have a fun theory on how the show will end?
