‘Yellowstone’ star Cole Hauser to host ‘ultimate tailgate party’ at bull riding finals
“Yellowstone” star Cole Hauser will host a tailgate party in Arlington next month during the Professional Bull Riders World Finals Championship. Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler on the Paramount Network show, is hosting the “ultimate tailgate party” on May 18 in AT&T Stadium’s east plaza, PBR announced Thursday. The event is part of PBR’s larger championship weekend set for May 17-19 in Arlington. The tailgate party will include the rider arrival show, featuring 25 competing bull riders. Live music will be provided by VAVO, Dean James & The Treatment and Dallas Cowboys’ DJ EJ.
Attendees can also expect special guests, merchandise, lawn games, activations and a mobile bar, according to PBR. The tailgate is only open to fans with tickets to the that evening’s round of the championship on May 18.
Hauser formed a partnership with PBR in 2022 and stopped by the championship in Fort Worth last year to film a commercial campaign. “I’m looking forward to hanging out with all the fans,” Hauser said in the press release. “After we party outside, we will bring the party inside to witness bull riding history.”
After Fort Worth hosted the PBR World Finals Champiosnhip in 2022 and 2023, the organization announced last summer that it was moving the event to Arlington. Fort Worth will still keep a piece of the PBR World Finals and host elimination rounds May 9-12 at Cowtown Coliseum. But the later rounds and championship are set for May 18-19 at AT&T Stadium. “Cowboy” singer Kid Rock will kick off the World Finals weekend in Arlington on May 17 with his “Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo.”
The Michigan-born singer is partnering with PBR on the new rodeo event, which mashes Kid Rock’s music and a six-team rodeo competition with a $1 million purse.
