“All will be revealed.”
A new teaser trailer for Yellowstone season 5 has dropped and it promises a deadly showdown between the gang.
During the fifteen-second clip, the voiceover of John Dutton ominously announces: “We’ll show the world who we are and what we do.”
As the voiceover comes to an end, Rip Wheeler can be seen cocking his shotgun – as for who he’s getting ready to shoot, we’ll have to wait and see.
“All will be revealed” flashes across the dark screen, promising a tense and exciting new series packed with conflict.
The series, which stars Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes and Kelly Reilly, aired its season four finale in the US in January, confirming the exit of Jefferson White’s cowboy Jimmy Hurdstrom.
Jimmy left Yellowstone for the 6666 ranch in Texas, setting the scene for the show’s co-creator Taylor Sheridan’s recently announced spin-off 6666.
6666 is the name of a ranch that Sheridan actually owns. The spin-off is set to be filmed on location at the ranch which will also serve as a base of operations for Sheridan.
The drama will also be getting a prequel series called 1923, which has cast Star Wars’ Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren.
In the new series the Dutton family will struggle to survive lawlessness, prohibition, a cattle theft epidemic and a historic drought, which is all set during the great depression of Montana and follows the end of the First World War in 1918.
Paramount+ said in a statement: “The next story will introduce a new generation of the Dutton family and explore the early 20th century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition, and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home.
Season 5 will premiere with a two-hour long episode.
