Final Season Of ‘Yellowstone’ Will Be Much Longer Than Expected
The return of “Yellowstone” will apparently include more episodes than originally expected.
The fifth and final season of the hit neo-Western series from Taylor Sheridan will return in November, and fans can’t wait to see how the saga ends.
While there are still a lot of questions that need to be answered – including whether or not Kevin Costner will return – fans are simply eager to see the ending.
The belief has been that the back half of the second season would likely only be a handful of episodes. It turns out Taylor Sheridan’s plans are significantly larger.
“Yellowstone” return might include lots of episodes.
Josh Lucas, who plays young John Dutton, recently revealed in an interview with Deadline that the back-half of season five might be 10 or more episodes.
“I think we’re going to do 10 or more so episodes,” Lucas told the outlet when discussing the topic, according to Screen Rant.
Ten more episodes is outstanding news. It should be music to the ears of fans everywhere. That’s pretty much an entire season’s worth of new episodes.
The fact there will be at least 10 episodes should also help dial back any fears the ending will be rushed, which has been a consistent concern.
It’s been more than a year since season five went on break, and the show has dealt with never-ending chaos since. Fans have years invested into the saga, and we all want an ending that leaves us satisfied and happy. Let’s hope Sheridan can get it done with as many episodes as necessary.
