A Reddit post is going viral for possibly revealing Taylor Sheridan’s long-awaited ‘Yellowstone’ finale.
There’s nothing like being invested in a movie, or in this case a television show, only to have the ending spoiled when someone talks out of turn. The entire premise up to that point, hinges on the audience’s anticipation, thus creating some storyline suspense. And no show has more of this than Taylor Sheridan’s big hit “Yellowstone.”
For nearly two years, fans of this neo-western drama have heard rumors of infighting with cast members, Sheridan included. Nearly two months ago, the show’s biggest star, Kevin Costner, verified that he was not coming back. Even further back, last December, Sheridan sued his very own cast member Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler on “Yellowstone,” stating his Free Rein coffee brand logo was too similar to his very own Bosque Ranch Craft coffee logo. Costner went on to finish his passion project, “Horizon: An American Saga,” while Hauser and Sheridan settled their branding dispute out of court.
Dispute or not, many die-hard “Yellowstone” fans have marked their calendars for November 10, when the show has been slated to stream on The Paramount Network. It seems nothing could stop this show from having a finale, not even its biggest star walking off or the fact that production was halted due to a 148-day writer’s strike. However, there just might be a post that explains enough about the show’s finale to take the fun out of watching it. And just like the stone in David’s sling took out Goliath, this rant may be big enough to ruin the ending of this mega show despite all of its challenges to continue its production.

Over the weekend, an angry diatribe posted by a Reddit user on a message board, titled r/missoula, stated the crew on “Yellowstone” were rude and worked long hours shooting in the Reddit user’s neighborhood, using stadium lights and being difficult with local residents. Who knows what part of this scenario set this Reddit user off for good, but they reveal some details about the possible season finale, that according to the post, were supposed to be part of a “secret scene.”
“I talked to a colleague this morning who, for some inexplicable reason, was an extra in this ‘secret scene’ last night, as well as a neighbor who looks down over the house, and both of them spilled the beans on what happened after hearing about our baby, my spouse, and our friends,” the post read.
What the Reddit post described was a scene many of us fans can picture in our heads. Without giving away too many details, let’s just say three of “Yellowstone’s” main characters, siblings, were described to be part of a big fight scene, where one of them was carried out on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance. The post doesn’t reveal if the actor on the stretcher was playing dead or mortally wounded, all we know is that this was dubbed a “secret scene,” so speculation may bring us to the conclusion that this might be a possible ending for one of televisions most anticipated finales.
Out of spite for the way this Reddit user says they were treated by the cast and crew of “Yellowstone”, this possible spoiler is being solely blamed on them.
“If that was the big, ‘secret’ finale/fight, ‘Yellowstone,’ your crew’s sh**ty conduct towards the neighbors the past few days and over the summer, and even 2 years ago when you filmed at the house, as well as your condescending attitude towards Montanans in Missoula, the Flathead, and the Bitterroot earned you no friends and spoiled it,” the Reddit post further stated. “No one would have bothered sharing this ‘secret scene’ had you treated everyone with some modicum of respect. You didn’t. This is the outcome.”
Yes, we know who they are talking about, but what fun is it in sharing every detail, right? As fans get closer to the ending of this show, I’m sure there will be plenty of story leaks and fan comments to fill several scripts worth of ideas. However, this will possibly heighten anticipation for the ending of this show, to see if this possible spoiler is just that — a spoiler or a misinterpretation of yet another dramatic “Yellowstone” scene. Either way, the finale of “Yellowstone” is set in stone leaving fans with little more than imagination to help fill in the gaps until it premieres on November 10
