Wilmer Valderrama Shares Exciting Personal News Just Days After NCIS Season 23’s Production Kicked Off

Wilmer Valderrama from NCIS has some exciting personal news to share just days into production starting for the new season of the procedural. Despite months away from premiering, work has kicked off for NCIS season 23. However, Valderrama finds himself with another thing to celebrate.

Valderrama took to Instagram to share with all his followers that his fiancée, Amanda Pacheco, has given birth to their second baby together. Nakano Oceana is now a big sister, and she certainly looks proud as she holds her baby brother in her arms. This is one little girl who was excited to get her new role in the family.

Valderrama took to Instagram to share a series of images with just the caption “Wolf Monte Valderrama 7/11/2025.” Within the images were those of him with his fiancée Pacheco and some images of their daughter Nakano holding her baby brother.

NCIS Season 23 Production Continues

Before sharing the exciting personal news, Valderrama took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes looks to make it clear that the series was back to filming, along with the reminder of the new timeslot of Tuesdays at 8/7c on CBS.

This likely won’t affect the production of NCIS season 23, which is currently on the go. Valderrama was spotted on the set in images posted on July 17, which indicates that he’s already had a few days at home with his family before getting back to work.

The delayed posting of the birth announcement shows that Valderrama just wanted to take some private time with his family before life continued. Now he’s ready to step back into the shoes of Nick Torres, who is sure to support Alden Parker, who will want revenge for the death of his father in the NCIS season 22 finale.

Our Take On Wilmer Valderrama’s Exciting News
Wilmer Valderrama And Amanda Pacheco Deserve This Happiness

The happy couple have been engaged since New Year’s Day 2020, and they welcomed Nakano in February 2021. As Valderrama said, they have been manifesting a new baby for months before learning of the pregnancy, and now they are happy and ready to be a family of four.

It’s curious, however, if the real-life arc for Valderrama can inspire any stories for Nick in NCIS season 23. Following the heartbreak from Ellie Bishop’s exit, Nick was guarded in terms of romance, until he started seeing Jessica Knight’s sister, Robin.

Moving forward, it will be interesting to see if that partnership will become a deeper commitment — something that is extremely rare in NCIS. If not that, hopefully Nick has other personal stories coming his way.
