Will Season 6 of “Virgin River” Be Significantly Delayed? Alexandra Breckenridge Doesn’t Have Good News

We’ll see Season 5 of “Virgin River” this year, but we may have to wait longer for the next one. Alexandra Breckenridge has announced that work on the set will not start on time.

After the numerous cliffhangers from the finale of Season 3 of “Virgin River,” no one was particularly surprised when Netflix announced an order for two more. Work on the set of the 4th series came to an end in December, as announced by the series’ star, Alexandra Breckenridge. This time, the actress gave fans another piece of information — unfortunately, less positive.

Virgin River season 6 — work will be delayed

According to Express, the actress informed fans about a significant change in the work schedule for the series during a live cooking session on Instagram. It turns out that the planned start date for filming for Season 6 has been postponed.

The actress emphasized that filming in Canada in the winter and pretending it’s sunny California is quite an unpleasant experience, so she hopes to avoid it.

For now, we have the 5th season of “Virgin River” ahead of us. According to speculations from Netflix Life, the series may return at the earliest in spring 2022, but it is much more likely that new episodes will appear only in the summer. What awaits the heroes of the series? Fans are hoping primarily to find out the answer to the key question – who is the father of Mel’s child?
