We have questions, and you (probably) have answers! With another week of television under our belt, we’re throwing questions left and right about a whole host of shows including Bridgerton, 9-1-1, Chicago Fire and The Bear!
1 | Historically, the titular monarch Queen Charlotte died before Edward and Victoria’s daughter was born. With the news of their child in the finale, does that mean her death is imminent? Do you think we’ll see her pass away in Bridgerton Season 3?
2 | Why didn’t Silo keep the Freedom Day slide installed on the spiral staircase at all times, allowing for a quick descent down multiple floors? (It’s not mechanized, after all, as is forbidden by The Pact.) Is Jeff Fahey’s casting as Billy Burke’s dad in Fire Country the best parent/child pairing on TV in 2023 so far? Meanwhile, what’s Bode’s plan to do to make the drugs “disappear” by (quite obviously) smashing them with a rock in the woods?
4 | Rava, Nate, Gil…. Did Succession make you look at the Season 1 cast list this week to remember some of these characters? And we appreciate the drama and all, but did it take a long time to bury Logan Roy?
5 | What do you think happened to Connor from The Company You Keep? And were you surprised that Charlie’s ex-fiancée (played by Bridget Regan) didn’t show up in a last-minute twist?
On NCIS: Los Angeles, why didn’t any of the parking lot sprinklers (ever) turn on after Callen shot the truck’s gas tank to make it explode? And did you have to laugh when all those agents magically appeared after Fatima alerted everyone to the situation in Kilbride’s office?
7 | First, HBO Max released Love & Death less than a year after Hulu’s Candy, now Netflix releases Painkiller less than two years after Hulu’s Dopesick…. Shouldn’t the programming heads get together and make sure they don’t greenlight the same show?
8 | Given the positive buzz The Bear generated after its first season, are you a little shocked that the show is still rolling out a second season, rather than releasing weekly episodes/maximizing attention?
9 | Is anyone else hoping that Lucy’s surprise appearance on 9-1-1 this week will lead to a more permanent return for Arielle Kebbel?
Will Lopez vs. Lopez detract from its dramatic finale, which focuses on George’s alcoholism, by ending with a “California sober” joke? And here’s a question we never thought we’d ask: What’s 62-year-old George Lopez’s hair care routine, and how does he maintain such a big volume?
Would Gotham Knights’ reveal of the leader of the Council of Owls have been a little more surprising if there was a second grown man on the show with a beard?
12 | As TVLine reader Jo asks: In the trailer for Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai, why is the cute mogwai’s name “Gizmo” when Billy himself gave him that name 60 years later?
13 | Speaking of Ted Lasso, why doesn’t Colin know that the print edition of Oprah Winfrey’s O magazine stopped publishing in 2020? (Are we sure he’s actually gay?) And why is Nate just now realizing that Rupert is a womanizer? (Didn’t he see his boss near his assistant Ms. Kakes at the end of Episode 4, the last time they were on Bones & Honey? And have Rupert’s numerous affairs while he was still married to Rebecca been well-reported by the British press?) 14 | So… has anyone figured out The Flash’s “Eddie resurrected” plot? And did Daniele Nicolet get hurt in real life, and Cecile suddenly had to give up mid-episode?
15 | Is Chicago Med’s Hannah/Archer/Sean situation similar to the Crockett/Pamela/Avery plot?
16 | Chicago Fire’s Brett is definitely going to adopt that abandoned baby, right?
17 | Chicago P.D. fans, what do you think about Upton taking off the ring? Does she finally let go of Halstead?
18 | Survivor fans: Was that one of the most (accidentally?) entertaining Tribal Councils we’ve seen in a long time? And if you had to give Danny’s De Niro face a score, what would it be?
