
FBI: Most Wanted – CANCELED
FBI: Most Wanted was canceled, and some fans believe it to be due to ratings and a tight schedule. Ratings wise, Most Wanted fell behind many of CBS’ other dramas and hour-long programs including Tracker, Matlock, FBI, Blue Bloods, NCIS, Elsbeth, and Watson.
FBI: Most Wanted especially went through a situation towards the end of last season where they made budget cuts to keep the show running.
Fans are speculating that perhaps expense played into this decision as well.
Scheduling wise, CBS renewed so many TV shows, and with the new FBI franchise, FBI: CIA, in the works, it seems the network was ready to part ways.
FBI: International – Status Unclear
FBI: International was also canceled, and it’s believed to be due to ratings and a tight CBS schedule. Ratings wise, International had slightly better ratings than Most Wanted, but still also fell behind many of CBS’ other dramas and hour-long programs including Tracker, Matlock, FBI, Blue Bloods, NCIS, Elsbeth, and Watson. It’s believed that this could have contributed to the decision.
Scheduling wise, CBS renewed so many TV shows, and with the new FBI franchise, FBI: CIA, in the works, it seems the network was ready to part ways.

S.W.A.T. – CANCELED
S.W.A.T. was canceled at CBS, and star Shemar Moore did say in a message that it seemed to be due to “money, optics, politics.”
He added to CBS, “I don’t think you’re making the right choice.”
Deadline reports that CBS decided to renew SWAT for its seventh and eighth seasons because “producer Sony Pictures TV was able to propose financial terms that were appealing to CBS.” It seems that the network wasn’t even interested in exploring the terms this time around.
The outlet reports that “CBS did not engage in renewal talks, opting to end the series.”
After Midnight – CANCELED
The late night show has officially been axed at CBS.
Host Taylor Tomlinson also explained her decision to step away: she wants to return to stand-up comedy.
Taylor explained in a statement, via THR, that she wants to return to stand-up comedy full time. She said, “Hosting After Midnight has genuinely been the experience of a lifetime, and I’ll be forever grateful for the opportunity to be part of this incredible journey. Though it was an extremely tough decision, I knew I had to return to my first passion and return to stand-up touring full-time. I appreciate CBS, [executive producer] Stephen Colbert, the producers, and the entire After Midnight staff and crew for all the love, support, and unforgettable memories.”
