Joan Vassos left Golden Bachelor early, turned her back on Gerry Turner, and went off to see to to daughter who had postpartum depression. Later, nominated as the first Golden Bachelorette, not all ABC fans were thrilled. Now that new promo pics arrived, many people ripped it .
Joan Vassos Seems Nice Enough
While some people even claim the new Golden Bachelorette staged her exit to get the nomination, she seems nice enough to most viewers. Of course, people had their favorites like Leslie Fhima. But, others hated the idea, and blamed the new show for the rumored demise of Bachelor in Paradise. So, there is some underlying dissatisfaction.
Promo materials for Joan Vassos already arrived and ABC revealed that her tag line is “Love Never Ages.” That photo showed her in natural light, and it didn’t get as much criticism as the newest one that arrived on Instagram on ABC’s page for The Golden Bachelorette. The newest one showed her with the usual rose, but it was golden.
Golden Bachelorette Promo Pic Ripped
When the admin posted the new promo photo in a reel, the picture seemed over-photoshopped. The new ABC lead looked as if she was molded from clay and then dipped in gold paint. Her rose stood tall, and also looked gold-plated, as golden petals swirled around. It might be a work of art, but Bachelor Nation fans didn’t seem to like it much.

The imagery for Joan Vassos got roundly ripped in the comments section when the photo made it to Reddit. Here are some of those opinions:
– lmao she has less wrinkles in that pic than people on this sub who are still in their 20s. this airbrushing/photo filter stuff is pure jokes sometimes.
– Joan is beautiful but this doesn’t give gold it gives beige, boring and over Photoshopped. I get what they are going for but red roses would have at least brought some color into this.
– Between her shirt, rose, hair, and the background, they managed to completely dull the main character and make it into some random AI prompted image.
– I get it’s the golden bachelorette but that’s too much gold in one photo. They should’ve broken it up somehow.
– with the gold background, gold shirt, and her blonde hair, they could have used a red rose and red petals and no one would have forgotten that this was the golden bachelorette!
