The first-ever season of “The Golden Bachelorette” has kicked off with lead Joan Vassos searching for love.
A fan favorite has already emerged after the premiere: Charles Ling, a 66-year-old retired data analyst from Malvern, Pennsylvania. Viewers were captivated by Ling’s sweet and gentle demeanor but also his humor. Charles L. showed his appreciation for the Bachelor Mansion by walking around and checking out all of the appliances and features the residence had to offer while also adding his commentary.
Thankfully, he did get a rose at the end of the episode but some men weren’t as lucky.
Now, heading into Week 2, it appears there will be a group date reliving senior prom, a magical one-on-one at Disneyland Resort and the Second Annual Golden Talent Showcase.

Don’t miss ‘Dancing with the Stars’:Where can I watch ‘Dancing with the Stars’? When to tune in to tonight’s double-elimination
He wrote in the post that the four Hometown Dates this season included Pascal Ibgui, Chock Chapple, Guy Gansert and Jordan Heller. From there, Jordan Heller was eliminated ahead of the final Three.
The Overnight Dates took place in Tahiti.
“From everything I’ve heard, Pascal eliminated himself because he wasn’t in love with Joan,” Reality Steve wrote in his post. “I just don’t know if that happened at Final 2 or 3.”
He then concludes the post by stating that Joan is with Chock Chapple and that he does not know whether they’re engaged or not.
