Who won the MasterChef: Dynamic Duos challenge tonight?

The first duo called up was Tina and Aivan for their bún thịt nướng with vermicelli noodles, lemongrass pork, pickled daikon and carrots, and garlic vinaigrette. Second were Zach and Michelle with their moules-frites with mussels, green curry broth, and nori and lime-dusted fries. The final dish in the Top 3 was skirt steak tacos with homemade corn tortillas, green tomato salsa, peach and habanero hot sauce and charro beans from Adam and Joel.

The winners were Michelle and Zach. Next week is the first Mystery Box of the season, with one box being spicy and the other sweet. The advantage Michelle and Zach won for next week’s competition was the ability to pick the protein for each duo.

Who was in the MasterChef: Dynamic Duos bottom three this week?

The first dish in the Bottom 3 was Kevin and Trey, the second was Darce and Courtney, and the final duo in the bottom was Tonna and Cait. The losing dish was ultimately Kevin and Trey’s Cajun seafood pasta.

“I am very proud of myself for pushing myself to get out there,” Kevin said. “I am very proud of him for sticking by me and me sticking by him. If we go down, we go down together. We made some fundamental mistakes that shouldn’t have happened. It’s a lot more difficult in that kitchen than people think it is.”

“We get to leave with our heads high,” Trey said. “We are leaving with some confidence, although the whole thing didn’t go the way we wanted it to. We still made the Top 12, and that’s no small feat.”
