Virgin River is heading into season 7 with wedding bliss, unresolved love triangles, and one notable cast exit that’s reshaping the town’s future. When the Netflix hit returns on March 12, 2026, most familiar faces will be back — but not all.
Leading the charge are Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson, who continue as newlyweds Mel and Jack. Season 7 will explore their early married life and renewed path toward parenthood, while also digging deeper into Mel’s complicated relationship with her newly discovered father. Showrunner Patrick Sean Smith promises both romance and real-life challenges ahead.
Fan favorites Colin Lawrence (Preacher), Annette O’Toole (Hope), and Tim Matheson (Doc) are all returning, with Doc’s medical practice and marriage remaining central storylines. The tangled triangle between Brie (Zibby Allen), Brady (Ben Hollingsworth), and Mike (Marco Grazzini) will also continue to fuel drama.
However, season 7 marks the exit of Mark Ghanimé, whose character Cameron received a quiet sendoff in season 6. While the door isn’t permanently closed, he won’t appear this season.
