Queen Charlotte revolves around two different stories across the queen’s reign. Viewers are taken to the early years of the queen when she arrived in England in 1761 to marry George III. Meanwhile, in 1817, the queen had to deal with the death of her granddaughter and heir and pressures her surviving children into marrying and having children to strengthen the line of succession.
