When will chef Gordon Ramsay and his new show “Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service” show viewers what they found undercover at Crazy Burger in Narragansett?
Publicists for the show are so far being tight-lipped, but that didn’t stop Crazy Burger Cafe & Juice Bar from letting out the secret on its Facebook page.
The episode featuring the Boon Street eatery is scheduled to air Sept. 10, according to the restaurant’s Facebook post.
It attributes this announcement to someone named Alison from the show and notes that the date is subject to change.
“We weren’t supposed to say that he was here,” Crazy Burger owner Michael Maxon told The Providence Journal on June 6. But a producer told him he could talk about his experience without giving away details of the show, Maxon said.

Crazy Burger in Narragansett was the site for a food reality TV show filming in April 2025.
Gordon Ramsay caused a stir filming in Narragansett in April
Ramsay caused a stir in Narragansett in April, when word leaked that the celebrity chef was filming a reality show to be called “Restaurant Refresh,” which would update the decor and menus of aging dining spots.
But the tables were turned later in April when Ramsay announced the true premise of his new show: to get undercover access to restaurants to expose their dirty secrets, and then clean them up and give them a makeover.
“With undercover help and cutting-edge technology, I get to go full on ‘MI6’ with these restaurants … and they’ll never see it coming,” Ramsay said in a news release from Fox, the network airing the show.
What was filming with Gordon Ramsay like?
Maxon said Ramsay’s visit was, overall, a good experience.
“We got busted on some stuff, but we learned some good lessons,” he said. “One of those lessons was that we needed to offer less” on the menu so they could focus on providing consistency.
Maxon invited diners to visit the restaurant before the show airs to check out its new deck and patio.

Maxon’s evaluation of the experience was a lot less gloom and doom than Fox foreshadowed in its new release.
“Restaurateurs who are looking for a quick fix or social media glow-up are in for the surprise of their lives when famed culinary titan Gordon Ramsay trades his signature chef knives for a state-of-the-art surveillance vehicle and cutting-edge spyware in FOX’s all-new unscripted series,” Fox said.
“Chef Ramsay will venture into struggling restaurants under the cover of night. With the help of a secret source on the inside, he’ll gather raw, unfiltered evidence and get a 360-degree view of the major issues facing each restaurant,” the release continues. “This insider will not only remain a secret to the staff, but will also help Ramsay infiltrate the restaurant after-hours for a dramatic nighttime black light kitchen investigation that reveals more filth and grossness than ever before. By the time Ramsay reveals his identity, it will be too late for staff to cover up their culinary crimes.”
