Wednesday Won’t Return Until 2025
After being delayed due to the Hollywood strikes the latest news on the Addams Family spinoffs sees Wednesday season 2 finally establish a production start date. Hampered by shooting delays, the long-awaited second season is expected to begin shooting in April 2024 as the production shifts from Romania to Ireland. In the same announcement, Netflix made it clear that Wednesday was a top priority along with the fifth and final season of Stranger Things.
Not long after a shooting start date was announced, it was also revealed that Wednesday season 2 will not premiere in 2024. Though disappointing, it isn’t astonishing considering a host of extenuating factors that put the popular Netflix series on hold. Though no concrete release date was established, it was revealed that Wednesday season 2 won’t premiere until 2025.

Naturally, because Wednesday was such a smashing success for Netflix in its first season, the streamer wasted no time in announcing a second. With the strikes out of the way, the show is expected to go into production in April 2024, though no release date has been revealed.
