The beloved star of Virgin River, Alexandra Breckenridge, has generated a fan frenzy with her latest tantalising sneak peek into the much-anticipated upcoming season on Netflix.
Busy cameras are rolling for season seven, with Breckenridge set to reprise her role as Mel Monroe, alongside Martin Henderson’s Jack Sheridan.
Recently, the actress let slip that Mel and Jack’s serene life in the quaint town is due for an upheaval, as they swap their cosy setting for a new abode.
Breckenridge took to Instagram and whipped fans into a state of eager suspense with a video unveiling the couple’s new lavish living quarters.
“Here we are, not on the farm,” announced Breckenridge in her reveal. “Filming at Mel and Jack’s new house!” reports the Mirror US.
Reveling in the perfect filming day and tunes in the air, she gushed, “It’s a beautiful day, we’re playing music. Look at this beautiful… I wouldn’t mind living here, it’s stunning.”
Giving her enraptured audience a virtual tour, she turned her camera to showcase the impressive property, complete with a barn and expansive grounds.
Intriguingly, she hinted at possible story developments by musing, “I wonder if there’s still a horse in there or not. What do you think?” in reference to the storyline-favourite horse, Sugar, from the previous season.
Eager Virgin River fans couldn’t contain their excitement over the exclusive update, flooding the comments with their anticipatory thoughts.
A particularly avid viewer expressed mixed emotions, commenting: “I honestly don’t know if I’m ready to say goodbye to the cabin, but at the same time I’m so excited to see them starting their life together in the new house! raising their family..”
