‘Virgin River’ : The Sheridan Family Expands In Season 6
Despite Netflix’s request for secrecy, as Alexandra Breckenridge confirmed to her followers, the dedicated Virgin River fans, tourists, and Vancouver residents have managed to bring some exciting information about the series to light over the past few months.
Meet the “new” Sheridan Sisters
Over the weekend, some photos were leaked, hinting at Mel and Jack’s potential wedding. The scenes were filmed at the couple’s new property, just as Breckenridge had speculated a few months ago during the Christmas episode promotion.
The pictures in question depict Erin Kathleen Boyes, Gigi Neil, Zibby Allen, and Martin Henderson in what appears to be a selfie of the Sheridan brother and sisters.
The picture was quickly removed from Instagram but remains visible on Reddit and Facebook groups.
A few mistakes were made throughout the seasons regarding the number of sisters and brothers Jack has. We are confident that the precise number will be revealed in season 6.
Considering the elegant dresses and the Marine uniform Henderson is wearing, it is likely that the cast was filming the wedding scenes. These scenes are part of the 5th and final block of the series, directed by the veteran Monika Mitchell, which is set to wrap filming on May 31st.
The wedding could take place at the couple’s new property, a new house and barn built within the Martini Film Studios in Langley. Martini Acres offers over 150 acres of forest and farmland, just 10 minutes from the Studios. Martini Film Studios has collaborated with Netflix on multiple projects. We also know that some scenes for a wedding were filmed at the Ferry Building Gallery in West Vancouver.
Boyes can also be seen with Mark Ghanime (Dr. Cameron Hayek), who is wearing an elegant suit.
This is not the only leaked information that got out in the last few months.
Breckenridge has been seen in some scenes with Rachel Drance, who will play Marley Thurston. The scenes were filmed at Mel’s cabin located in Murdo Frazer Park.
During the 4th block directed by Martin Henderson and Martin Wood, most of the cast were seen in Deep Cove on a paddlewheel boat, the Constitution, owned by Harbour Cruises. The cast also had some night filming there.

No information for a release date has been given by Netflix. The series will wrap its 6th season on May 31. Virgin River wasn’t on the list of series returning in 2024, so it’s likely to premiere somewhere in 2025. Catch up with everything you need to know about season 6 here.
