Sara Canning (The Vampire Diaries) stars as Victoria, a former cop turned state medical investigator. She arrives in town to look into Doc’s practice — and unexpectedly reconnects with someone from her past… possibly romantically.

Cody Kearsley (Riverdale) plays Clay, a rugged, athletic rodeo type who instantly stands out. He grew up in foster care and is searching for the sister he hasn’t seen since their teens.
And because it’s Virgin River, visitors have a habit of sticking around longer than planned.

Yes! Netflix quietly renewed Season 8 just days after production wrapped on Season 7. So there’s plenty more story ahead for Mel, Jack, Doc, Brady, Brie, and the rest of the small-town crew.
