Virgin River fans can officially mark their calendars — season 7 is scheduled to premiere in March 2026, as confirmed by star Ben Hollingsworth during an appearance on Good Day New York.
The long-running Netflix hit last aired in December 2024 with a dramatic season 6 finale that left viewers reeling, especially after teasing the possibility that Charmaine may be dead. The new season will continue Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack’s (Martin Henderson) story while picking up that major cliffhanger.
Hollingsworth, who plays Brady, reflected on the show’s milestone season 8 renewal, calling it “surreal” to be part of Netflix’s longest-running live-action series. Season 8 wrapped filming in June, introducing new faces to Virgin River, including:
-
Sara Canning (The Vampire Diaries) as a former cop turned medical board investigator looking into Doc’s practice
-
Cody Kearsley (Riverdale) as Clay, a foster kid searching for his sister
Most of the core cast returns, though Mark Ghanimé (Dr. Cameron Hayek) will not be back as a series regular.
Season 7 is expected to highlight the town clinic, Doc’s medical scrutiny, and Brady’s ongoing struggles, all while continuing the sweeping romances and small-town drama fans love. A full trailer and official photos will drop closer to the premiere.
