Virgin River is one of Netflix’s biggest fan favorite TV shows – and their longest running original series, too!
The series was renewed for a seventh season in 2024, and we know filming has already started. So, when can we expect the new season to debut?
Well, we have some clues, based on past seasons!
According to Netflix insider site What’s on Netflix, season seven is currently in production and will wrap up filming on June 26, 2025.
Filming for season six spanned from February-May, 2024, and that season was able to debut just a few months later in December of 2024. It took a total of 7 months in post-production for season six’s debut.
If we’re using a similar timeframe, it seems like Virgin River season 7 could end up debuting very early in 2026. Following the season six math, season seven could debut as early as late January 2026, which would be seven months after the June 26, 2025 filming end date.
All of this is still speculation, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens and we will update with any official word from Netflix!
