After more than a year of anticipation, Virgin River fans finally have a date to circle. Netflix has confirmed that Season 7 will premiere globally on March 12, 2026, with all 10 episodes dropping at once for a full binge-watch.
Picking up immediately after Mel and Jack’s long-awaited wedding, the new season explores married life on the farm—complete with renovation woes, emotional growing pains, and renewed hopes of starting a family through adoption. Showrunner Patrick Sean Smith describes the season as diving into the couple’s “honeymoon phase,” while still testing Mel’s comfort zone in small-town Virgin River.
Beyond the central romance, Season 7 continues the show’s ensemble storytelling. Hope and Doc revisit their love story, Preacher and Kaia grow closer, and Lizzie and Denny prepare for parenthood. Filmed once again in Vancouver, the season keeps its signature Pacific Northwest charm.
