Virgin River Season 7 Delayed — When New Episodes May Finally Arrive on Netflix md14

Fans hoping to return to the comforting world of Virgin River will need a bit more patience. Netflix has officially pushed back Season 7, with new episodes now expected to arrive in early to mid-2026.

The hit romantic drama was renewed in October 2024, following the success of Season 6, which premiered in December 2024. While some viewers anticipated a late-2025 release, Season 7 was noticeably absent from Netflix’s 2025 schedule—signaling a delay tied to programming strategy rather than production issues.

Filming ran from March to June 2025 in Vancouver, with additional scenes shot in Mexico, marking the show’s first international filming location. The overseas shoot has fueled speculation that Mel and Jack may finally get their long-awaited honeymoon.

Season 7 will include 10 episodes and introduce several new cast members, including Sara Canning, Cody Kearsley, and Austin Nichols in a still-secret role expected to shake things up.

Although Netflix hasn’t confirmed a premiere date, industry insiders point to a Q1 or Q2 2026 release. Despite the wait, excitement remains high, with deeper character stories, fresh locations, and even early development underway for Season 8 and a potential spin-off.
