Virgin River Season 6 on Netflix: New Spinoff Series Coming?
Virgin River season 6 on Netflix is expected to air later this year or early 2025. However, fans may get more as rumors of a spinoff series for the show have surfaced.
According to a report from Deadline, a spinoff could be set in the 1970s and focus on Mel’s parents. Additionally, What’s On Netflix also reports that Virgin River will get a seventh season, but there may not be many more seasons after the end of season 6.
Currently, Netflix has not officially confirmed a Virgin River spinoff nor revealed many details about the seventh season renewal.
In addition, Netflix’s teen romance series “Heartstopper,” which revolves around the characters Charlie and Nick, returns this Thursday. The new season will feature Annette Badland from “Outlander” and Jonathan Bailey from “Bridgerton.”
Netflix will also premiere its Sundance Film Festival highlight “It’s What’s Inside” on Friday, October 4. The film follows a group of college friends at a reunion that quickly turns into a nightmare when a strange suitcase and game appear. In her review for IndieWire, Jourdain Searles wrote: “This is a dark, vibrant, and chaotic horror comedy that delves into identity and scathingly critiques modern anxieties about attractiveness and success. It’s terrifying!”
