Star Alexandra Breckenridge marked the moment on Instagram, writing simply, “#virginriver keeps on keeping on!” — a sentiment fans instantly echoed with emotional messages and virtual applause.
Netflix also confirmed that Seasons 7 and 8 will each include 10 episodes, giving viewers plenty more time in the Northern California town they love. Looking ahead, showrunner Patrick Sean Smith teased that Season 7 will explore Mel and Jack’s early married life, while Doc and Hope step up to defend the clinic from outside forces.
