Netflix’s Virgin River returns March 12, with Connecticut-born actress Alexandra Breckenridge once again leading the beloved series.
Breckenridge, a Bridgeport native who grew up in Darien, plays Mel Monroe, a nurse practitioner seeking healing after losing her first husband. In Season 7, viewers will see Mel stepping into a new chapter as she begins her honeymoon with her second husband.
Before landing her starring role in Virgin River, Breckenridge appeared in popular shows including American Horror Story, This Is Us, and The Walking Dead.
