Virgin River is set to return this month, bringing Connecticut native Alexandra Breckenridge back to screens nationwide.
Season 7 of the hit Netflix romantic drama begins streaming March 12. Breckenridge, who was born in Bridgeport and spent much of her childhood in Darien before moving to California at age 11, stars as Melinda “Mel” Monroe.
In the new season, Mel begins her honeymoon with her second husband after the heartbreaking loss of her first. The role continues a journey that started when Mel, a nurse practitioner grieving her husband’s death in a car accident, relocated to the small town of Virgin River for a fresh start.
Breckenridge is also known for her work in American Horror Story, This Is Us, and The Walking Dead.
