Virgin River star Benjamin Hollingsworth (Brady) is taking his brooding charm to the big screen in The Christmas Ring, a nostalgic, heartfelt holiday romance now playing in theaters.
Hollingsworth stars as Ben Miller, a warm-hearted antiques dealer who helps Vanessa Mayfield (played by Jana Kramer), a military widow searching for her family’s missing WWII-era Christmas ring. Their quest begins as a simple mystery but slowly turns into a tender, old-fashioned love story—complete with glowing lights, small-town magic, and just enough drama to keep you invested. Kelsey Grammer co-stars as Ben’s father, adding an emotional twist of his own.
Based on Karen Kingsbury’s newest novel, the film embraces the feel of classic holiday romances—sweet, sentimental, and made to be seen on the big screen. Kramer says that’s exactly the point: “There aren’t many Christmas movies that go to theaters anymore… it’s family-friendly and fun.”
