‘Virgin River’ Fans Have So Many Questions about This Big News from Netflix
As the holidays approach, so does Virgin River. The beloved show is returning with season 6, and Netflix just announced the release date as December 19. All 10 episodes will come out at once, so you can binge the entirety of the season immediately. The season will follow our favorite characters as they navigate relationships (and love triangles), wedding drama, medical issues, and long-lost family members.
In addition to the premiere date, Netflix also revealed more season 6 first-look images, giving insight into some of the show’s iconic couples. From Mel and Jack to Preacher and Kaia to Doc and Hope, the characters are facing some of their toughest trials yet.
Virgin River’s Instagram account shared the photos, captioning the post, “We’ve missed them so much! Get a first look at what’s ahead in season 6. Counting the days until Virgin River comes back December 19th.”
Loyal fans were quick to jump in with their excitement.
“Nothing like an announcement to make the start of a work week awesome! Happy dance,” one writes.
“Time to get a new pair of TV jammies. I can’t wait!” Another adds.
Of course, the news brought a flood of questions too, like “will Brady and Bree get back together?” and “Will Mel and Jack finally become parents?” Another fan joked, “Will Charmaine still be pregnant?” And one asked, “But…will this be a split season?!” According to the announcement, no. Unlike last season, all episodes will drop at one time.
We’re counting down the days, too. Get ready to stream Season 6 of Virgin River on Netflix on December 19, 2024.
