Virgin River returns this month, and Connecticut-born star Alexandra Breckenridge is once again at the center of the story.
The full seventh season drops on Netflix March 12. Breckenridge portrays Mel Monroe, a nurse practitioner whose journey began with tragedy after her first husband’s death. Seeking healing, Mel relocated to the small town of Virgin River — and in Season 7, she begins a honeymoon with her second husband.
Born in Bridgeport and raised in Darien before moving to California, Breckenridge has also built a career with roles in American Horror Story, This Is Us, and The Walking Dead.
