Unexpected TV Twist: ‘FBI: Most Wanted’ Alum Reunites With Chris Pratt in New Series

The Terminal List is getting some serious reinforcements for Season 2. Deadline has reported that Edwin Hodge (FBI: Most WantedWinning Time) and Caitlin Bassett (Quantum Leap) have been cast in recurring guest roles in the hit Prime Video action thriller led by Chris Pratt. The casting marks a reunion for Hodge and Pratt, who previously starred together in 2021’s sci-fi blockbuster The Tomorrow War, and now, the two are going from fighting aliens to hunting conspirators in The Terminal List’s grounded and gritty world of covert military ops.

Created by David DiGilio and based on the bestselling novels by Jack CarrThe Terminal List follows Navy SEAL James Reece (Pratt), who uncovers a deadly conspiracy after his platoon is ambushed during a high-risk mission. Season 1, based on Carr’s debut novel, was a pulse-pounding dive into Reece’s descent into vengeance and justice. Season 2 adapts True Believer, and brings new allies—and enemies—into the fold.

Hodge joins the cast fresh off his four-season run on CBS’s FBI: Most Wanted, which recently wrapped after the show’s cancellation. A familiar face on both the small and big screen, he’s also appeared in Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers DynastyGenius: Aretha Franklin, and starred in The Purge franchise—famously becoming the only actor to appear in all three films. He also co-wrote and produced Parallel, where he starred alongside his brother, Aldis Hodge, and Danielle Deadwyler.

Bassett, meanwhile, is no stranger to high-stakes storytelling—or high-stakes real life. A real-life U.S. Army veteran who served in Military Intelligence for seven years with multiple deployments to the Middle East, Bassett made her acting debut as the co-lead in NBC’s Quantum Leap revival. She trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting after law school and was selected from over 40,000 applicants for the prestigious ABC/Disney Discovers Showcase. Season 2 of The Terminal List marks a major return for the rising star.

The series continues to be executive produced by Pratt through Indivisible Productions, along with DiGilio, Antoine FuquaKat Samick, author Jack Carr, former Army Ranger Max Adams, and Navy SEAL Jared Shaw. It is a co-production between Amazon MGM Studios and Civic Center Media, in association with MRC. No word yet on the premiere date for Season 2, but with this cast, expect things to get explosive.
