‘Tracker’: Series Lead to Leave Before CBS Series’ Season 2
Robin Weigert, who played Teddi Bruin opposite Justin Hartley in the first season of CBS’ Tracker, will not return as a lead in season 2, sources confirm to Deadline.
It’s unclear what Teddi’s storyline will be in the upcoming season. Both 20th Television and CBS declined to comment.
Weigert’s Teddi is a former tour manager for rock musicians who has now settled into a comfortable middle-aged life in North Florida with her wife and a menagerie of pets. According to the official character description, Teddi is one of two people who run Colter’s “behind-the-scenes” operations: finding him new jobs, tracking his money, occasionally helping him get out of jail.
The film, based on Jeffery Deaver’s best-selling novel The Never Game, stars Hartley as Colter Shaw, a lone survivor who roams the country in search of a bounty, using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries while struggling with his own broken family.
Hartley, Ken Olin, Elwood Reid and Ben Winters serve as executive producers.
