Tracker Season 2 Will Bring All The Characters Fans Have Been Waiting For
The big family drama has been kept under wraps for far too long.
It’s been a few days since the season 1 finale of Tracker finally hit screens, and fans can’t stop watching for a cliffhanger that makes it official that the sequel’s focus will change.
With Colter Shaw’s complex personality now out of the shadows of his work, revealing some major family mysteries, the upcoming second season will certainly have to deal with a lot of characters once again, and some of them have already been confirmed to be returning.
Tracker star Justin Hartley, who also directs the show as one of its executive producers, recently revealed some key details about the upcoming season.
Speaking to Deadline about the season 1 finale, Hartley couldn’t pass up the opportunity to delve deeper into the future of the series, saying that the show will definitely be bringing back Billie and Lizzy, played by Sofia Pernas and Jennifer Morrison.
The actor also hinted at the possibility of his entire family returning, making it clear that the next season of Tracker will have to deal with the Shaws’ massive family tragedy like never before.
Fans of the show may find this news particularly exciting considering that it somehow confirms the return of Jensen Ackles as Colter’s estranged brother Russell. Since the season 1 finale didn’t really clear things up about Ashton Shaw’s mysterious death all those years ago, Russell doesn’t really have the chance to disappear now amid all the drama unfolding.
As Hartley said in the interview, all of the dark family secrets that are finally revealed will force both brothers to “have a lot of questions to answer with Colter’s mother.”
The next season of Tracker will premiere on CBS later this year.
