Tracker Season 2 Trailer Reveals Justin Hartley’s Colter Shaw Returns After Hiatus
The brand new Tracker season 2 trailer reveals the first look at Justin Hartley’s return as Colter Shaw. Despite a shortened year, CBS was able to successfully launch its latest police procedural based on the book The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver. Marking Hartley’s return to television after playing Kevin Pearson on This Is Us, Tracker became the most-watched series of the 2023-2024 cycle, even ending NCIS’s five-year run at the top.
The short clip reveals Colter returning to his reward-driven ways, helping various people track down missing people and reunite them with their loved ones. Unfortunately, while Jensen Ackles has confirmed his return for season 2 of Tracker, Russell Shaw is not included. Additionally, learning new information about his father’s death will create a significant shift in Colter’s stance on his family in Tracker season 2. It’s clear that his relationship with his mother has been strained, but after Russell’s revelation about how she forced him to leave, his younger brother Shaw will likely be more cautious in dealing with his mother. Likewise, it could create a rift in his relationship with his sister, Dory.
1 Hartley and the rest of the Tracker cast have to be on their toes, given the standard they set in the first year. For that reason, viewers can expect that the second year will deliver at least the same quality of storytelling. Colter’s discovery of new information about the Shaw family tree is a great springboard for his new story, which could be more engaging and compelling.Tracker 1 Your rating5 stars4.5 stars4 stars3.5 stars3 stars2.5 stars2 stars1.5 stars1 star0.
