Tracker Season 2 Casts Key Characters for Colter’s Personal Life
Tracker season 2 will welcome a new character, as Colter’s girlfriend has been cast. The new hit drama, based on Jeffery Deaver’s The Never Game, will return for its second season in a few weeks. While it’s been confirmed that Jensen Ackles and Melissa Roxburgh will return as Colter Shaw’s (Justin Hartley) siblings in Tracker season 2, upcoming episodes will also introduce someone else from Colter’s past.
Ahead of Tracker season 2’s premiere on Sunday, October 13 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS, TVLine confirmed that former Supergirl actress Floriana Lima has been cast as Camille Picket. The official character description notes that Camille is “dark and compelling” and has been Colter’s on-again, off-again love interest for at least a decade. Check out the official description below: The haunting, alluring Camille has been Colter’s on-again, off-again lover for at least the past 10 years. Camille’s sister went missing 10 years ago and her case was never solved, which has caused some trauma for both Camille and Colter on each anniversary of her disappearance, but also led to them reconnecting, at least for an evening.
Lima, who is also recognized for her roles on the TV show The Punisher and the TV movie A Million Little Things, isn’t the only new addition to the Tracker cast. The new season will also feature Manifest stars Matt Long and Lindy Booth from The Librarians, as well as Rookie Blue’s Enuka Okuma and Yellowstone alum Ryan Dorsey. All four will appear in the first episode of season 2, which finds Colter solving a bizarre case.
The case and its homage to The X-Files were previewed in the season 2 trailer for Tracker. That trailer also included a brief scene of Camille and Colter sharing a quick kiss. His occasional girlfriend could shed light on Colter’s personality and the nomadic, solitary way of life that is at the core of the CBS series.
Following the conclusion of Tracker season 1, CBS’s top-rated series will have more to do with Colter’s family. But there will also be a chance to explore his romantic life and whether anything or anyone could make him adjust his ways. That’s one of the advantages of a second season with a larger episode count, allowing the adaptation’s creative team, including executive producers Ben H. Winters, Elwood Reid, Ken Olin and Hartley, to examine the title character and those around him more closely.
10 things that need to happen for characters like Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) and Reenie Green (Fiona Rene) in Tracker season 2 after the end of season 1.
That includes focusing more on the supporting cast featuring Abby McEnany, Eric Graise, and Fiona Rene. Their respective characters, Velma, Bobby, and Reenie, are ripe for further development. But it all started with the lone wolf himself, and it looks like Tracker season 2 is setting itself up to continue what made the first season so successful.
