‘Tracker’ Returns for Season 2 – One Star Missing!
Tracker is getting a second season. Given the success of the CBS freshman show (it was the most-watched new series on broadcast television in six years), the renewal announcement isn’t exactly a surprise. But it’s welcome news, as we can’t wait for another adventure series featuring Justin Heartley as Colter Shaw, a “reward-seeking” survivor.
Read on for everything you need to know about Tracker Season 2 so far, including the cast and release date.

What is Tracker Season 2 About?
According to the synopsis for Tracker’s Season 2 premiere, “While investigating the strange disappearance of a missing family whose car is found abandoned on the side of a road in the Arkansas backwoods, Colter makes a shocking discovery about his mother’s past that leads him into the world of organized crime. Additionally, Reenie opens her new law firm and enlists Velma’s help in setting up shop.”
Who is the cast of Tracker Season 2?
Season 2 of Tracker will see the return of much of the cast from Season 1, with one notable exception. Robin Weigert, who played Teddi Bruin in the first season, will not be returning. Her absence will certainly impact the show, especially since Velma is still in the picture.
Additionally, Season 1 guest stars Melissa Roxburgh, Wendy Crewson, and Jensen Ackles—who appeared as Colter’s sister Dory, mother Mary, and brother Russell—will all reprise their roles in Season 2.
