‘Tracker’ Offers a Look at Reenie’s New Law Firm and Colter’s Season 2 Case
Colter (Justin Hartley) is thrown right into a big case to kick off Tracker season 2 this fall.

In the October 13 premiere, titled “Out of the Past,” while investigating the strange disappearance of a missing family whose car was found abandoned on the side of a road in the Arkansas backwoods, Colter makes a shocking discovery about his mother’s past that leads him into the world of organized crime.

Looking at what Colter will face early this season, in addition to the family mystery surrounding his father’s death, Hartley told TV Insider as part of our extended Fall Preview of Season 2, “Right at the beginning, what happens is we’re introduced to a job that Colter got a decade ago. He had two sisters and one of them went missing. Colter was hired but he never got around to it and it haunts him. For the first time, we see a guy like that, a hero and always doing the right thing but he can’t find the girl and bring her back. It says a lot about him as a person that he carries that with him but he doesn’t let it go.”

Also in the premiere, Reenie (Fiona Rene) opens her new law firm and enlists Velma (Abby McEnany) to help set it up. You can see both Colter’s work and Reenie’s new office in the photos below.

“At the end of last season, Reenie decided that she was going to leave the firm and go into business for herself. She had a big change in her life and in a way, she teamed up with Velma and you’ll see a lot of the two of them working together, which is a really interesting dynamic,” Hartley noted. “They both have a common goal with some completely different ways of going about their business.”
