Tracker Casts Floriana Lima for Season 2 Arc — What’s Her Connection to Colter? (Exclusive)
Floriana Lima has been keeping busy. In addition to starring in Season 21 of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, TVLine can exclusively confirm that the Supergirl and A Million Little Things alum has landed a recurring role on CBS’ Tracker.
Eyed viewers may have spotted Lima’s character in the recently released trailer; in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, she appears to kiss Justin Hartley’s Colter Shaw on the lips (see below).
TVLine can now reveal that Lima will be playing Camille Picket. “Haunting, compelling… Camille has been Colter’s occasional lover for at least the past 10 years,” according to the official character breakdown. “Camille’s sister went missing 10 years ago and her case was never solved—which causes some trauma for both Camille and Colter on each anniversary of her disappearance, but also reconnects them, at least for one evening.”
In the Season 2 premiere, titled “Out of the Past” and airing Sunday, Oct. 13 (CBS, 8/7c), Colter investigates “the strange disappearance of a missing family whose car was found abandoned on the side of a road in the Arkansas backwoods.” Along the way, he “makes a horrifying discovery about his mother’s past that leads him into the world of organized crime.” Meanwhile, Reenie “opens her new law firm and enlists Velma’s help in setting it up.”
In addition to Lima, TVLine can confirm that Matt Long (Manifest) and Lindy Booth (The Librarians) will guest star in the October 13 premiere, both of whom play key roles related to the aforementioned missing family case. Enuka Okuma (Rookie Blue) and Ryan Dorsey (Sons of Anarchy) will also appear.
Tracker, based on Jeffery Deaver’s best-selling The Never Game novels, stars This Is Us veteran Hartley as the aforementioned Colter Shaw, “a lone survivor who roams the country as a bounty hunter, using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries,” according to the official synopsis.
In his free time, Colter is faced with a broken family—and a potential conspiracy involving his late father. Season 1 guest stars Melissa Roxburgh, Wendy Crewson, and Jensen Ackles—who appeared as Colter’s sister Dory, his mother Mary, and his brother Russell—are all returning for Season 2, with Ackles expected to make his second appearance in Episode 2 (airing October 20).
